500 Years in the Making: The Jewish story of Mexico City. Trace Jewish arrival and survival in Mexico City from the 16th to the 20th century — walking through the very sites where that history unfolded. This experience blends World Heritage architecture with the stories often left out of the guidebooks. You'll see the original arrival and settlement neighborhoods, stand before the Palace of the Inquisition, step inside the Historic Synagogue and its Reminiscences exhibit, and view a rare historical photo collection documenting Ashkenazi life in Mexico.
